If you are not aware a tricycle is quite difficult to ride, so, with this in mind the manufactures have invented a way to be able to ride this like a bicycle and it pivots in the middle of the frame. As you ride it, the frame can be released so you can lean into corners as you would with a bicycle. When its stationary the pivot can be locked so you can sit quite stable on it.
